Hi, im still pretty new with Linux so forgive me for this question.I currenly have Red Hat 9 installed, with my nework working but how do I get the internet to work. I have a morconi router.

Thanx alot

Networking is very similar to the windows route. ie: you set your gateway as your router (default 192.168.0.200).
I haven't used dead rat for a long time so this is a bit of memory searching but you could either try setting the gateway via the command prompt using the linuxconf tool or via editing the file /etc/sysconfig/network

PROSTHETICS - based on the dearth of posts, seems like dead rat users are non-existent. DFANTOM's advices nevertheless still hold. Given that you're a noob, why don't you switch to one of the more config-friendly distros, which usually have successful automatic setup via GUI front-ends? Something like Mandrake would do, and methinx the dead rat open commons alternative, Fedora, would also be far better for you...
