Is there a possibility of someone burning me a copy of Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty Jackolope and mailing it to me or giving it to me if they live near me? (I live in Green Point on weekends and Rondebosch during the week)

Head over to the ubuntu site and order the cd. Mine usually arrives within 14 days. I never bother downloading. It's 100% free too. Way to go. Nice packaging too.

The last time I downloaded it, one file failed a hash check and the image would not install.

I promise you - I clicked on the "send me a cd" link, and it was in my postbox in 14 days. They send from the Isle of Man. Canonical. Not a word of a lie. I've got Jaunty, Intrepid and Hardy all by post, and usually within 2 weeks.Truasbob!

Maybe mine takes 4 to 6 weeks cause I order 10 to 20 disks ;) .... and they comply every time..

I just purchased a the latest LXF mag to get Ubuntu 9.04 (Gnome, Kde4.2 & XFCE) & Mandriva.

If nobody has helped you out yet then please pm me - I have Kubuntu and Ubuntu and netbook remix 9.04 and I stay in Rondebosch.

Peace
