BTW guys, ever thought of making JAWUG a bit less complex for the layman to understand and join into the revolution?

heh....... I think the aim is to try make it as simple as possible and it is fairly simple, just takes a but of time to get a basic understanding and to set it up.

The Line Of Sight issue makes it most difficult as you have to mount stuff onto your roof to "see" the other side of the link... not like put iburst modem and away you go... I wish it was that easy.

We have connected people in Durban that dont really understand much but willing to get it up and going. There is always someone to help if you keep in the spirit of it. once it's up.... it's up.... but you have to remember on the other side of the coin, the guys put up this wireless stuff to fiddle and learn.
 
AcidRazor - I hear you! But seriously, if you are really keen, come into IRC - its the best way to speak to us. Much easier to answer questions in there!
