Hi there,

I'm trying to figure to following out. I installed Linux Mint. I created folders on this computer.
I want to share those folders then map drive them to the windows computers, but
with permissions, so people cant access other peoples data...?

Is this even possible? maybe help on how to do this??

Thanks for any help :)

I know Fedora has a nice little Samba GUI, pretty sure its also available on Ubuntu/Mint, etc. It really makes life a lot easier if you just need to do basic stuff like add shares, users and set permissions.

sudo apt-get install system-config-samba
