In my town, we have an old German Pensioner, he does not come out of his house, but makes use of Tops@Spars delivery service, I kid you not, this okie for the last 7 years that I have known him, drinks 4 cases of beer a week...... this guy is yet another eccentric character in this corner of the desert... but that's another story...

LOL it's 3 and it's not for the weekend. It atleast have to last me till braai day, which is wednesday. I'll have some tonight, I'll have some tomorrow. Then I'll probably hold out till Wednesday, where I'll be having some for breakfast with the 1st braai of the day.

mmmh! The SAB opened there first multi million dollar brewery in Namibia last month, think they invested about 500 mil.... wonder if they are brewing Lion Lager there....

I honestly don't mind where they brew it. If I can get some, I want some.

LOL at young.

I don't normally suip on a Sunday, I like to be clear headed on a Monday morning. Monday mornings are kark enough without a babbelaas. If there is an occasion I'll happily 'vat 'n slukkie' but ya, no relation...

I suiped quite a lot at the time I met my SO, and over the years I have calmed down. Sometimes my marbles need a good shaking, but I try and behave. But at least once a weekend I try to misbehave as much as possible. Seems to keep me sane enough.

I feel you brother.....I feel you.... (No Okie! It ain't a gay thing!)

I can relate to this, need to hak out on a weekend, at least one of the days, it does help, takes the stress away.... let's one's mind wander...... some HO's & SO's don't comprehend this way of thinking though!

True, but I think we are both blessed with understanding woman in our lives.

For example: So get's back from shop, and asks "So how's your beer", and of course I sing its praises. Then she's like "O, that's nice" And now I feel bad, as I see her reaching for a glass of coldrink... So I ask, "Would you like to have one?"... quiet ... now I know she wants one, but she knows how I get about my precious Lion. Previously had some Castle Light in the house to which she would turn. None of that left. So I'm "Baby, would you can really have one" and she's like "Are you sure I may consume some of your precious Lion", unsure I say "Of course!" Smiles all around. Think I just scored some brownie points.

Hahaha! Tonights the Night in Fanieland....

When Ho went out 28 minutes ago to Spar to buy some ingredients for something she wants to bake right now.... she asks me if there is anything I need, I could have said, one case of Jagermeister and 2 cases of Whk Draught and mark my words.... it would be in the laundry by now..... so yes, I jest a lot about her.... but she is my maid.... er... no, just joking, she is my pillar.... keps me in line when I now and again overstep that mark....
