Lithium Car Battery retailer SA ?

didn't you have a post like a month ago about how you couldn't afford license fee's and the car wasn't running for 6 months?

The problem seems to be that you used an external charger on your battery which is not the intended use, and the onus was on you therefore to remove the battery from the car and place it on the charger. This is squarely your cock up not the car or the battery.
Well you can look at it anyway you see fit however, taking out that battery every 2 days for a top up will drive you crazy, it's bolted down good in a hard to reach area, so taking it out for a charge will never happen. yes i want to top it up every 2 days, because i don't drive far enough for the battery to get a good enough charge to last long.

Yes had to redo the engine which cost a ludicrous amount, so had nothing left for anything else, started a new job now so taken care of, i fail to see what this has to do with the question.

Not expensive at the right place. the electronics to convert the current from the alternator is cheap should i do a diy job, but i'd rather buy something complete for a price i know exists if i can only find that site.
You would honestly be better off adapting your setup to deal with an acid spill again adequately...

The Lithium battery will be po3s expensive in comparison...

Dude. There is a huge problem somewhere between your battery and your alternator if it is going flat in two days. Especially if you drive it every two days, no matter how far.

maybe set it up so that you can plug in a trickle charger at night as a suggestion

Sound... and probably a piss poor half arsed install if you cant get to all the components easily...

Just as an aside, battery in the boot.. which car is it because that is decidedly non-standard for most vehicles.

normally more common on "luxury" german cars, im gonna guess its an old bmw

Your car sat for six months. You got a dead cell and need a new battery. It's got ****all to do with the short drive you do every two days. Next time take the battery out to connect it to your battery tender before it dies.

its not going flat in 2 days, alternator is fine, i just like to keep it topped up.

not a dead cell, voltage is 12.65 resting, which is not great but ok, non of this is applicable, i simply want to charge a battery inside the car because its a pain to take out, not bmw or merc.

I'm sure that if this is stock the manufacturer would've foreseen this. All the cars I've driven that had lead acid batteries had little drainage pipes to vent the excess acid build up - heck, even my motorbike has this. Which leads me to believe your setup is not as stock as you're saying, which further leads me to believe that just substituting a Lithium battery in its stead will cause you to use the "fire" claim part of insurance - which I'm not even sure they'll cover - and then you require a deep cycle, which is again designed for different purposes.

Take your time based firebomb to an auto electrician and get it checked out by someone that knows their stuff.

Normally I wouldn't care, but I'm also a road user and prefer staying fire free in my travels.

What charger were you using that caused all this trouble?
