I noticed an article on MyBB that speaks of load balancing two Telkom 'Uncapped' LTE packages together. It effectively increased the speed and lowered the latency (http://mybroadband.co.za/news/wirel...-get-higher-lte-speeds-and-lower-latency.html).
For R799, Telkom's "Uncapped" LTE now has a 300 GB cap. When reached, speeds are throttled to 4Mbps. After 350 GB it is throttled to 2Mbps for the remainder of the month.
Given the cap and the price point, I thought that it might be a good idea to link four packages together. Doing so would likely allow for speeds much greater than 40Mbps as well as a 1.2 TB cap.
I would like to know from those who have load balanced connections, how it works in terms of the bandwidth and caps?
For example, if I connected two, three or four of these services together, how is the data used? Is it spread equally amongst the four packages or would the load balancer favor one package before using another?
I'd appreciate any feedback and advice
[I only have 4Mbps ADSL in my area and no FIBRE. Also in a poor location for WISPS. So LTE is one of the only good options for broadband]
