It makes me so angry. It happened on Wednesday when they switched us off, like it it was stage 4 even though we were downgraded to stage 3. And this morning again. Went off like it was supposed to for stage 4 but we are on stage 3. Argh!!!!

Just follow the CityPower tweets with the most replies to find how they can't follow the schedule.

I think they're calling it "rotational" load shedding because the dart board they use to decide which areas to switch off is round.

City Power has stuffed block 11 again. Not supposed to go off at 6am but it did. Then they put it on again and it tripped everywhere after a minute.:X3::mad:

Most places in CT still getting things like one 2 hour loadshedding a day, while the rest of country suffers. Classic.

Thats nothing, my 18h00-20h00 last night was

17h55 - still off
We experienced that 2 weeks ago when load shedding schedule was 6-8pm and power came back at 8pm for 5min then never returned because some substation tripped.
Power was restored the next day at 9am.

I was working night shift and my Generator worked flawlessly for 12 hours straight with no issues.

keep in mind that most of the load shedding isnt automated. there is literally a dude heading to the sub station and cutting the power. yes, it's that lame. the original systems designers could never have imagined such cray times

I wish this dude kept updated with the actual schedule.
