Firstly are any of you guys part of any local affiliate programs? And in terms of advertising how much do you make from your site?

I think it would be good to talk about ways of making cash from your site in SA.
 
Im part of one, Traffic synergy. Havent used them for any real length of time though. Il stick an add up for a week at most then take it off again. Couldnt give a damn:)
Its difficult to make money from them,unles you get an insane amount of visitors.
 
Hmmm...not that much hey. According awstats i get about 400+ visitors a day. Not sure how acurate that is though because the google analytic figure is about half of that.

Cool.

My latest site gets a lot of traffic, but all my other sites get about the same as what your get.
 
Ag ive given up on making money. My lines been dead for about 3 weeks now(Thanks Telkom)
If you have a blog sign up for adgator. Its new but worth a shot i guess.
Anyways best of luck,hope you manage to make some serious money off your site. Im about 2 weeks away from getting my 1St $100 check from google. Other than that i havnt made much money from my site.
Luckily though i didnt start the site to make money, otherwise i would have given up by now(On the site).
How many sites do you have if i may ask and are any of them earning you money yet?

Actually I am the owner of locallist.co.za mainly and I am trying to set up an Affiliate program. There are no good ones available in SA so it would be good to give back to smaller sites. I have a web development website as well, but that is just too much work to run these days. I have has two other sites but the international scene is too much of a hassle. Local is the way to go I say.

I am about $20 from my first Google check, but I have retired Google Adsense, it is just too much damn effort.

Sorry it only dawnd on me now just what a great idea locallist is:)
