Local + Blended Accounts Suggestion

I have been logged into Telkom Local Only uninterrupted since August and been dialing a second Blended session at will ever since. So the infrastructure already exists to do this. The only problem is, if the Local connection is lost for some reason, there is no way to log back in. (Other than using up Blended first.)

So here is my suggestion:

If it is not possible for Telkom to split Local and International traffic we will do it for them. All we need is two usernames on the same account, one for Local and one for Blended.

I know it’s ridiculous to expect Telkom to do anything about this, but it would be in their interest too, if we did not all buy additional bandwidth elsewhere.

Any ideas on this?

This is a stupid thread... no offense... but it's not in Telkom's best interest to do what you asking... I could elaborate but that would mean more typing....

Why would you need to buy additional bandwidth from elsewhere? Why not just use Telkom as your ISP?

Because you need two accounts for RouteSentry to direct Local and International traffic.
In addition extra bandwidth from WebAfrica does not expire at the end of the month.
