I have a local-only as well as an international ADSL account that I would like to switch between, but have no idea how to do this in Linux. Can anyone help me on this one? I know about the bridging mode (which works fine in Windows) but in Linux it (any pppoe connection) simply does not connect if I tell it to.

It's true :( Not nearly fast enough with that "refresh" button anymore

Did you come right, by the way?

Well I'm getting the account tomorrow. Will try it out then. Route sentry works pretty well for Windows (stuck in Windows for web development because Dreamweaver CS3 doesn't work in Linux yet). Tested that on a concurrent connection: My local connection is heavy with traffic. Friggin MyBB.... :D

Lol... cool. Hope it goes well. Tried wine'ing dreamweaver?

You can Wine/Crossover CS2, but not CS3. It hasn't been scripted yet. They are "still" working on it.

Bummer... time to write a native Linux app to do it :p
