I feel helpless in the amount of bull that is going on in this industry. What can we do as a community to make our voices heard or do something about directing policy, getting results? All these things happen behind closed doors and we have to bend over and take it.

Can someone ask Rudi if he doesn't want to head up a new regulatory body please....he must be board of playing golf now.

I am honestly saying this - why can't folks from MyBB start some sort of lobby/public interest group that can pressure these people with bad PR into doing what they have been told to?

Just look at who's in control. NOTHING. EVER. GETS. DONE.

Now ask yourself again: Why am I surprised by this article?
 
Any other company, people would be fired. Imagine the following:

"Give us 2 years and you'll have the best cellphone app ever!"

2 years later:

"Oh about that, we spent the last 2 years investigating if we really want to make a cellphone app, give us another 2 years to decide please?"

People would be fired.
 
There are 2 issues here:

1) It is clear that the DOC and all its ministers do not actually understand what LLU is and how it will benefit South Africa.

2) It is even more clear that Telkom, the main loser if LLU is implemented, is doing everything it can to delay and derail the implementation of LLU. So far they have been pretty successful.
 
Someone needs to take that iCASA site down with a nice message :whistling:

Because South Africa is ruled by criminals, and they're not even making a secret about it.

So if you ever manage to get a lobby/public interest group up, you will be ignored, legislation will be changed, they'll even change the constitution if you push the matter far enough. The retarded masses who don't pay taxes will keep on voting them into power and when even that starts to crumble, they will resort to rigging elections.

This is stock standard everyday procedure in Africa and the southern tip is no different.

Because effective lobbying cost a lot of money. You going to donate a couple of thousand every month?
