I know this kinda defeats the purpose.

We are building a online transaction bases system for out staff. We would like to use the cloud to store our data and host our system but have a local instance at the office.

That way we would basically force computer on our subnet to transaction on the local copy which would be syncs to the net..

Any Ideas on how one would accomplish this ?

use Ubuntu UEC edition... it syncs with Amazon EC2 instances with auto failover. ( i presume u wanna use *nix cos doing this in M$ is nay clicky clicky poo poo ChaCh$$ING )

yea a local replication.. with the office internal DNS pointing to the local server and the reast of the world to our hosted solution
