Yes, I am working. Remotely. But what a day. Power was out from 02:30. I stretched my laptop battery as far is it would go. Borrowed an inverter from an exceptionally kind neighbour who had an extra to lend.

For the kids, this was a painful day. Lockdown, somewhat cool and miserable outside. No WiFi or electricity. Doing their schoolwork with glorified torches. Kudos to them.

Yes, working from home. No different than usual, just slower.
Front of the house was converted to an office 2 years ago. We are internet mail-order (e-mail order?), selling boards and backlights for TV's. Most people respond to our adverts placed on the major buy/sell sites. Business is slower, but as we are more-or-less an essential service we are still busy with orders. It helps that most boards or backlights have to be ordered from China, which takes 3 - 6 weeks.
Logistics is a huge problem at the moment. Orders are stuck in Shanghai, Dubai, and Johannesburg (we are in Cape Town). Even if someone orders something we have in stock there is no courier as we need a government letter.
