Long Distance Relationships

My gf lived 70km away in Paarl when we met. I'm in Cape Town. We only saw each other weekends and holidays for the first 2.5 years before she moved. The space was good so that we didn't see too much of each other and the space makes you miss each other more. Getting married in November after 6 years

U just miss each other so much more and when you c each other is just so much more special and also u dont take the other person for granted which is something I learned

I am 25 she is 20 doubt that will happen our relationship is 2 solid for that but then again in my last 1 you never know till it hits you like a freight train

The uni years are probably the worst for long distance. Threats are: books, boys & booze. If she can:

1. Resist Tuks koshuis parties
2. Stay out of Hatfield square & all clubs, at all costs
3. Avoid "finding herself" while away from home over the next 4 years
4. Avoid falling for a richer, hotter dude that she'll see everyday on campus

then you'll be fine. If she tells you she wants a break down the line so she can "focus on her studies"...well. Good luck.
