I'm watching Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron Blooded Orphans.

Even if you're completely unfamiliar with the Gundam universe it's a great watch. Mecha <3

Not a lot to watch at the moment sadly.

I really really hate the fact that Goku and them spent so much time to finally unlock SSJ thne Caba and them come along and just do it like it is nothing.

Anyway, haven't been watching much anime due to studies, work and other work.

Need to get started on One Punch Man as well.

My 2c is that they were at the right strength level but never got that pissed off.
Keep in mind that Trunks and Goten also did it like it was nothing.

Really really cool CG & animation but the story was a bit meh. I've never watched any Gantz before, but in this movie it felt like after the first 15 minutes you've learned everything about this world that you're going to learn and at minute 50 you've learned no more about this world - it's just time filled with really cool looking fight scenes. Wish the story unfolded a bit more.

Gantz universe is simply too big for them to really go into too much more detail. I reckon they covered it ok considering It was only a movie.

That's because Gantz:O is an adaptation of a single Gantz mission out of a lot of Gantz missions. They even changed how exactly the mission went to keep it fresh for fans and give them and excuse to explain things a bit.

They could have either:

a) skated over the missions and gone into more character and story development

or

b) Zero in on a single mission in depth, count on fans' familiarity with the story, and really go to town on one of the most exciting parts of the manga.

If you've read the Gantz manga before it is a brilliant movie.

Yeah, found it underwhelming, myself. But Aramaki rocked. "Never send a rabbit to kill a fox."

I used to watch so much anime at a time but then I experienced a form of fatigue and haven't watched in over a year. I can however, list a top ten. These are the best anime I've watched in no particular order:

- Hajime No Ippo

- Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood

- Hunter X Hunter 2011

- Samurai Champloo

- Rainbow:Nish Rokubo no Shichinin

- Ghost In The Shell Stand Alone Complex

- Monster

- Wolf's Rain

- Hellsing Ultimate

- Rurouni Kenshin: Meiji Kenkaku Romantan = Tsuioku-Hen (Samurai X - Trust and Betrayal)

These are anime that I consider masterpieces and have left a lasting impression on me.
