Akira (one of those classics you have to watch)
Bleach (watched about half of the anime, but I'm up to date with the manga)
Blood, Last Vampire (not a lot of people enjoyed this movie, but I liked it)
Blood + (drags on a bit longer than I'd like but it was enjoyable none the less)
Blue Gender (this anime had so much potential, still an ok watch tho)
Chobit's (man I love chobits)
Claymore (haven't watched much of the anime, but I'm up to date with the manga which is very good)
Death Note (haven't watched much of the anime, but I'm up to date with the manga)
DN Angel (read the manga, haven't watched the anime)
Dragonball (classic :))
Dragonball Z (IT's OVER NINE THOUSAAAAAAAAND!!!!!!! :D)
Dragonball GT (if you watched the first two series you may as well watch this one :rolleyes:)

Evangelion (first half of the series was awesome, second half sucked @ss. and the movies sucked mountains of @ss)
FLCL (one of the funniest and most brain warping animes ever)
Full Metal Alchemist (I loved the anime until I started reading manga. The anime could have been so much more :()

Full Metal Panic! 2nd Gig (more serious than the first two but good none the less)
Ghost in the Shell 1 & 2 (enjoyed the movies, but more for the artistic quality than the story)
Ghost in The Shell: SAC (love this series)
Ghost in The Shell: SAC2 (just as good as the first one)
Great Teacher Onizuka (funniest anime ever!!)
Hellsing (doesn't hold a candle to the new series that's out)
Last Exile (one of those under the radar anime, brilliantly done)
Love Hina (enjoyed the anime more)
Love Hina Again (same as above)
Mihori no Hibi (funny and smart, well worth watching)
Naruto + Shippuden (enjoy reading the manga more)
Noir (a very classy anime, very noir :))
One Piece (My favourite anime/manga...... by far)
RahXephon (think Evangelion........ only actually good)
Read or Die (another one of those under the radar anime that was well worth watching)
Robotech: Macross (a have to watch classic.....just skip through Minmei's singing :rolleyes:)
Robotech: The Robotech Masters (teh horror, teh horror. :eek: Do yourself a favour and skip this one)
Robotech: The Next Generation (much better than Masters)
Samurai X (Samurai anime can be slit up into two groups. Samurai X...... and the rest)
Spriggan (good movie, lots of mindless violence)
Sumarai Champloo (another classy anime, enjoyed it a lot)
Trigun (one of my favourite animes)
Vandread (enjoyed this as well)

Hmmmm, there's probably more that I'm forgetting. I need to make a list again.

I love One Piece!!! And to put it into context... I'm 36 :D
I watched Naruto for a while but since it became Shippuuden I haven't watched a single episode. I have eps 10 - 60 at home but would love to add to my One Piece collection. My "supplier" couldn't supply anymore so all I've watched was eps 1 - 60 or so...

Also, I've been watching deathnote recently and I've actually been enjoying it more than reading the manga :p . It's awesome how over the top and dramatic they make writing names in a book seem in the first ep.
 
Naruto Shippuuden has become so boring for me. I only recently started reading the mangas and my word, they're so much better. No fillers about grave robbers and other ****e.
 
Well I have been watching Naruto for the first time and completely blown away.
Much more than expected!

At first was not too certain that I will like it, then decided that it is quite harmless, shallow fun but dear gods it SO much more than just fun.
Itr has depth of story and characters and there are so few anime's that actualy spend time on the "bad guys" histories and make them not just another enemy to vanquish but actual people with reasons.

Also finished Karas last night, was very impressed with the stylish way the battles was handled.
 
I have watched way to much anime so far in my life....and well i am still watching and will keep on watching :p

Not gonna make list or anything like that of what i've watched ...cause well its too long...been watching anime since 2001.
 
I think anime is pretty cool but hardly have time for it :/ I don't watch any series on TV anime or not, I'm usually doing other things when some show is on, even one that I like, so I don't bother.

Watched a bit of Bleach though from friends back in durbs. It looked pretty good. I find the actual artwork of anime to be the most intriguing part for me. Sometimes it's awesome. Only downside for Bleach is they seemed to stand around and do more talking than action and I was like, "Hit him!! dammit, Hit him!!" :)

Closest I am ever gonna get to anime is playing 12sky online, I love it but not exactly anime is it?

Oh and a loooong time ago Spirited Away was an awesome movie to watch, somehow got my imagination going. I initially thought that the difference between Anime and Manga is that one is Chinese and other Japanese and look different. Now someone says it is animation vs comics, so assume this is true then?

Of course it is animation vs comics. That is an elementary thing to many anime fans.

Another issue that raises heated debates and flame wars is the word "otaku" and the percieved meaning by the West vs the actual meaning as per real Japanese people.

Anime is cool, but like many, with a busy schedule and going places I have hardly any time to watch any of it. Hence I stopped buying anime DVD as well because I have so many and I still haven't watched 40% of them....
 
Have to give Code Geass a look, It was just.... :D and Season 2 is out but waiting a week for a new epp is killing me!!

Also give Soul Eater a try, probably one of the best Animes of 2008!!
