Telkom recently launched its new LIT Android media box, so I thought we could create a thread minus all the launch drama. There was a fair amount. You can refer here if you'd like to read more about that.

The device is a rebranded 4K HDR OTT TV Box DV8219 Powered by Android TV

Note: At one point this box was referred to as a TVC-100 which was a typo error. It is a TVB-100 (TV Box) There is no such model as a TVC-100

I bought 2 already and converted them...these boxes are like far better that a 4kchinese box with fake specs....These telkom boxes are really powerful ****,they old azz stuff but they really good if you make them clean with no **** on then they out perform most new boxes.......These are sleeper tv boxes...What i did was install armbian OS on them and they run decent dual boot with android tv if you like.Will post a tutorial to make this a server or a low cost linux machine.
Bluetooth wifi all works on linux on this box.I am looking for more boxes to try other stuff on them.I also cleaned up the UI for the dualboot to android tv, so the android tv part is clean and runs projectivity launcher with kodi and all that other stuff.When you want to boot a linux distro on it all i do is reboot the box and have the sd card boot the OS.

I will post a tutorial with pics of this soon,, its easy, if you got the right processor and some good ram.I do not have extra sd cards so i cant do a x96 box i got here.
