Hi guys,

Its my first time ordering with Loot. I figured id give them a try with a purchase of a TV.

I ordered the item with them yesterday, and the item said expected shipping 2-4 working days before placing the order... once order was paid, it says latest shipping date to be 3rd of February... Now that date change made me feel a bit uneasy as literally a few moments ago is was fewer days.
After paying for the order, its then said "Stock on order" which means they might not even be able to source the TV that they advertise... and furthermore, there is no online tracking option.
When I called them to find out why, they mentioned they use FedEx and that I would receive an email once they receive the item (which is expected to take up to 3rd February), and then a further 2-5 working days to be delivered to me... which equates to basically 2 weeks from date of purchase, which I think is very poor...

Having used Takealot all my days, this seems a bit poor in terms of service delivery and i'm beginning to wonder if I have made a mistake using them.

Anyone have any feedback on experience with them?
 
Basically what you said and what they told you. Bought an in stock item and waited 3 days. Item was cheaper so I didnt mind waiting.
 
Bought samsung gas hob from them, got it 3-5 days later at my front door - awesome. Pretty much same story with all my loot orders so far.

Bought from them a LOT during the days of 40% discounted Checkers vouchers from eBucks (and using s-code as Loot payment method).
Haven't used as much since, but when I do order I usually get it within their defined timelines.
Been happy with their service overall
 
Hang tight, the item will get delivered.
 
They've always delivered, granted so has Raru for me.
 
Thanks for all the feedback... I feel a bit more assured now... I guess i will have to wait and see.

Will post feedback once delivered, positive or negative.

Order placed on Monday... Order delivered Thursday afternoon. Even with their dates stating shipping being a week more, it was delivered in half the time... I'm very surprised and very glad.

The app can provide you with tracking info, but very limited to "Stock on order", "Packed" and "Packed, awaiting shipping" and is very inaccurate after the "Packed, awaiting shipping" status. My item was already delivered but it still shows that order status.

The tracking number is only provided to you via the website version, and not on the app. Once I had that, I called Fedex to track the item and it was smooth sailing after that.
