How to return supposedly non-returnable items to Amazon?

I ordered some supplements from a 3rd party seller on Amazon
The supplement is advertised to be 750mg per capsule but when I weighed the capsules on a very precise laboratory scale they weigh barely 500mg each.
Now when I try open a return on Amazon I just get a page that says "This item isn't eligible for return" with no other options.

How do you complain about the order, there's no option on the order page for anything other than an option for return or replace which leads to the "This item isn't eligible for return" page ?

I had the same with a Samsung phone. No option to return. But when you speak to a human they returned it. Can't quite remember the sequence sorry, but I messed around in the menus for ages until I got to chat to someone.

They should refund you as it was incorrect product information. I find Amazon chat agents refund very easily.

You should still be able to lodge a ticket via returns by going through "problem with an order or item". For example,



From that point, it should lead you to options that could take you to chat. I like to take the email (ticket) route, because I am a documented person. You should also be able to request a phone call, but rather take a route which is attached to a history.

That worked a charm, I requested a call back, a lady phoned back almost immediately, very helpful - did a refund and escalated the issue.

If you buy a large black shirt that's not eligible for return but you receive a small green shirt....would you not try to return it?

My four month old broken Samsung also didn’t have a return option claiming I had to contact Samsung SA. **** that ****! I searched for a long time to find the chat options and they said they have a refund or replace option on their screen.
