Loot Vouchers Thread

Is it just me ... but noticed pretty often lately ..when loot adds something to its sale ... takealot adds the same thing ... usually a bit cheaper. ..a day or two after ... can they be that afraid ?

Haven't you also noticed when Dion wired run their blue Monday promotion 2 days later takealot have the same promotion running.

Don't trust daily deals / hot deals do your homework. Check amazon prices , wallmart etc. Sometimes you awesome deals to never be repeated again.
 
Don't you folks take the time to email loot to confirm if Pricing is correct. They can pre auth your credit then charge you a higher amount. Rather be safe than sorry.

I find loot to be cheaper than other online stores. They import majority of the things I order

whats the point of confirming pricing??
might as well just go buy somewhere else then

There are multiple sources for a lot of books and cost price can vary dramatically for all kinds of reasons -- there will unfortunately sometimes be cases where competitors are working with via a different supply chain and will have different pricing structures available to them. We aren't marking this title up more than our other textbooks but unfortunately the cost price we can currently source it at is high.

We're always working to ensure that we have the best sources for all the titles we list but with over 12 million titles available to order we won't nail it every time. There are of course often cases where we are significantly cheaper...

Just got a mail to vote for loot in the 2015 ecommerce awards. Already completed and voted for loot when I got the email from the ecommerce awards.

Dang, didn't think that one through. I have a game costing R130 that just became available I want to buy but need to bring that up for free delivery so I'll happily buy for R250 if I had a voucher.
