Lower telecoms prices coming

We've unfortunately seen this kind of statement all to often..

When it finally happens, I'll start believing it....

As for Neotel, it would be interesting to see what they do with this, because that is R100m that could have gone into network building rather than just lining someones pocket.

I rate Ivy is going to stall things for as long as possible. Everyday without competition means $$$ in the back pocket

IVY WHY ARE YOU STILL HERE?????????:( :( SHOULDNT U BE BAKING DAGGA COOKIES FOR YOUR ANC CRONIES, GO JOIN THEM THEY WAITING, SOONER YOU GET LOST THE SOONER WE CAN MOVE FORWARD :) :)

lol :D

Altech has already written Icasa a letter of demand for its new licence, saying it will be in contempt of court if it fails to issue one.

Poor !casa... now they'll be overworked... :D

Ruling against minister paves way for lower telecoms prices

Still waiting for my unicorn-horn in the post. I have a feeling it will be here before the lower prices though  :(

I think its a excellent rulling, hopefully we see overseas providers taking advantage of the ruling and rolling out here.

Are overseas providers alloud to apply for licence's?

Bigup to the judge in that case. Sum1 needs to tell ivy what shes doing is ridiculisly wrong. :p

COMING...................................................................................................................

Never arrives.

K.

Seen too much of this "price dropping in the furture" crap. 3 months later and still no drops.

The only things dropping are consumers' pants just before telkom sticks it to them

... and the funny thing is... by the time the price drops, i may be fondling sheep in Australia cruising the sensor-net!
