I think this doesn't mean much lower prices in future but it does mean more choice and more bandwidth available.
Now that doesn't make any sense. Competitive forces will surely mean lower prices no?

Well, we do have competition .. lets take the 3G example .. Vodacom released there offering and then MTN did .. guess what? The prices were the same! Telkom has now come in and there offerings are lower but not by much .. at least, though, we have choice now and the networks fight to get better networks with more uptime and greater BW ... Look at how all three are upgrading to 7.2 and when better technology is out, they will invest in those. Yet, prices are stagnant ...
