This is info that was given to me.

I spoke to a Telkom mobile consultant that gave me this information.

He said depending on which package you have bought that will be the decisive tower you will connected to?

He said I'm currently on 50GB if I migrate to 100GB I might switch towers.

Some packages only use Telkom network and others allow you to roam on other providers. I think that is what he means. Check with your phone which network it is connected too. He is saying if you use the large data packages the data will only work direct through Telkom towers.
