PATHETIC. First LLU is delayed now LTE is probably going to be delayed. Why is the development in Africa so god damn slow. Everyone else seems to be EAGER to get new technologies.

Time will tell. I will believe it when I see it. Not being pessimistic...just realistic. I wish them well.

HSPA+ for the interim, well if it does the job then OK, we seem to have a backhaul issue from cell towers anyway (see article on average latency) and a limit on frequency, so until the Sentech and digital dividend frequencies are sorted out we can't really expect anything

If Vodacom had not divorced WBS the company would be providing LTE now. But VC seems to have a problem working with partners. They didn't work well with Telkom, things are not so good in DRC, the Gogga saga etc.
