LTE on existing contracts

Your SIM has to be provisioned for LTE. I know, your requests will be ignored till the oficial launch. Alternatively find someone in your area who was on the trial, such SIM should still work.
You can query modem for supported frequencies or use the latest MDMA beta to see if given frequency is accepted.

Thanks ! I also see on their website that LTE will not be available for the 60+60 bundle, which is what I am using now.

Maybe it willl only be available on specific contracts.

On verizon and At&T in usa , it does do 2100mhz and 700mhz lte might work on cellc which uses 2100mhz.

Not on 8ta but Ipad will function under LTE on Vodacom, MTN and Cell C.

Remember no smartphone/iPad device that supports LTE will work on 8ta/Telkom Mobile network cause they making use of a different spectrum 2300 . It's unacceptable that 60-60gig won't work on 8ta LTE network.
