LTE UNcapped Ads - On Gumtree/Facebook

So Warren Pridgeon did some digging and sent it to me.

All their reviews are fake - and the images are from the template they used.

They have copied their knowledgebase from https://www.broadbandchoices.co.uk
https://wkdienste.co.za/billing/index.php?rp=/knowledgebase/3/LTE-SUPER-FAST-INTERNET
The links in some of them still even goto where they copied them from

On 3 March their own site was suspended https://web.archive.org/web/20180303005333/http://wkdienste.co.za/cgi-sys/suspendedpage.cgi
Looks like they host via https://ioflood.com/

I was considering getting the connectivity from this company... but then @roguemat said check out the thread on mybb. I gave it a look over and then started researching a bit. I found a whole bunch of stuff which makes me very uneasy about engaging in business with this company.

When asked about these things on fb the company owner responds in what I would call a less than pleasant manner.
 
If someone asks you why you have fake customer reviews this is probably not the best way of responding.

Thank you everyone that added value to this thread. Warren thanks for you're extra efforts and of cause to Mybroadband for availing the platform for these discussions. It is important to expose fraudsters but more important to celebrate companies that are offering good service at a fair price.

I'm still unsure of their game plan.

They say they are wk dienste pty ltd or west coast services pty Ltd or wes coast services pty ltd... but none of those entities exist at cipc (also tried a few variations of the name) so maybe they are registered as something else and trading as those names but then there shouldn't be pty Ltd attached to the names.

When people ask to see their ICASA registration info they get evasive and say "just believe us." And even say stuff like why would we run a company illegally

Their about us on Facebook (screenshot attached) says they have been going for years and have 400 000+ clients. Yet their self defence post says they are new and just getting on their feet.

They also claim to have their OWN satellite and cell towers.

When @roguemat questioned them about their fake user reviews their reply was it's because we used a template to create our site. Yet their same self defence Facebook post references the reviews as truth.

There are inconsistencies with what they say in different areas.

I feel everyone should know these inconsistencies before choosing to deal with them.

A colleague of mine paid R1920 for router and sim card over 1 month ago. Every time he enquires it is "on the way" but never arrives. OK as far as I am aware this is fraud because you can not take payment and fail to deliver the goods

OK so this is obviously FRAUD. But I have been caught. So what do I do now because I want my money back
 
Both of us. My colleague has not even received his router. I received my router but have not had wifi for 3 weeks. They keep making promises that they sending out new sim cards but every time you ask they put date forward

They are advertising their December specials... yet their list of unhappy customers is growing.

If you can't service your existing customers shouldn't you first get that under control before trying to get more business in?

Look like this scheme has finally failed. Sorry that you guys lost cash but this was dodgy as hell from the start.
 
I switched to Fibre eventually. Best decision ever. If you need reliable internet. Go with the big guys. Don't waste time here.
