I just fall outside LTE range but i can see the Tower (i think it is the tower). If i get a antenna and point to it will i be able to get LTE speeds then?
Has this been done?

You most likely don't even need a antenna if you fall outside the LTE coverage area. I fall WAY outside the coverage area and I get 1 bar LTE.

Telkom LTE signal travels far actually. Test it first with a prepaid sim to see how good the coverage is inside. If it is bad then a antenna will help a lot.

Back in the day Telkom Mobile offered free antenna to early adaptors of their LTE network as long as you within the coverage map. I had endless issues with Telkom Mobile whereby I wouldn't experience fast speeds whatsoever. They sent out a technician to my premises did a few test and gave feedback back to Telkom.. Telkom fitted the cost for mobile lte.. I have spend R5000 in total if not more.
