Lumia 1320

Ok cool, thnx. I was also required to send proof. Mine was sent yesterday from Heathrow, at the moment tracking shows it at Netherlands DHL...I'm not sure when it will arrive.

Edit: thnx for link, I will need to order one too.
Mine just left Belgium - on its way to JHB.

mine has just arrived in JHB this morning at 07:30. So excited like a 5 year old

Tracking details still on a 'clearance event' in JHB, been in that status from 10PM Wednesday. Must be customs clearance, wish it would move on already..

Exciting. Hope it's this morning.
Just got a call from DHL requesting my ID number for customs. Man this is getting longer. I want my phone NOW.:)

Edit: Just gave DHL customs a call and they told me it takes about 10 hrs tat customs to clear and their trucks leave at 12 every week day.

So I might get my phone on Monday.:p

Received mine this morning. Device is certainly huge - screen is awesome.

Been playing with this phone and I just  it.
Too big to use one hand though, but I'll get used to it.

Have a spare cover, color more frost than clear. First pm can have it for free.

Hello everyone, newbie here.

Just got this phone - it really is very very nice and very very big indeed!

I also have a Note3...and I thought I'd never say this, but the 1320 makes the Note 3 look small! :wtf:

Being a self confessed Samsung and Android fanboy - I never really wanted to try WP or iOS. I mean, I upgraded yesterday and I actually considered the Blackberry Z10!

But according to the CellC rep, they already got 3 returns of the Z10 this week - out of box failures.

At the price the Lumia is going - it really wasn't a hard decision.

First thing I noticed apart from the nice size is the feel in the hand - it feels very very premium...

Something Samsung users are not getting recently.

A day into my usage...and I'm falling in love with the lumia as well as WP.

Responsive, does what it says without anything unnecessary.

Yes, not all the apps are there - but I'm sure they will arrive in future.

In the meantime, WP has some really nice native alternatives. eg. Wunderlist / Onenote; Dropbox / Onedrive etc.

This phone is replacing my Bold 9790, so I'm going to use it for business purposes primarily - and I was very pleasantly surprised to see that Office comes pre installed. That will do nicely indeed.

Anywho, if you are reading this wondering whether to upgrade and try a WP for a change; or looking for a phablet on a budget - then the Lumia 1320 really deserves your attention. It is a great phone, beautifully constructed, lovely screen real estate and all the features you need to function on a daily basis - i understand side loading (?) is possible for some apps.

Hope to hear your thoughts.
PS. if you are changing from Android, the OS will look very simplistic. But it works very well, so take a day or two to get used to it.

1st post looks like an advert.

Ah, nope not an advert.

Just me being excited to share my experience with the phone.

I did some research on this phone as well as other before updrading, so I thought I'd share my experiences with people in similar positions as I.

:D

ShareMosselBay, thanks for the feedback, always good to hear of the experiences of those that are new to WP.
