What I'd like to know is how huge MB-wise the update is. I only have 1.5GB for the entire month on my phone. If its too big it means I'll have to download it on a WiFi network.

Shouldn't be more than about 100MB
 
Got a call from SmartLab today, they replace my phone.
Or at least that is what the lady said on the phone. Will check tomorrow when I get it.
She says the report states "hardware problem" - strange that a software update can cause a hardware error.
But anyhow, just glad I'm getting a new phone :D
