Luno Support and Queries Thread

Has luno shared data or has their systems been breached and user data leaked?

Just wondering why I suddenly get luno phishing mails via email and SMS.

The email I use is only used with luno so very very unlikely that it has been guessed.

Email used on luno is a proton email. And it does not consist of any name, it's random characters including numbers.

There is no way it was harvested anywhere on the net as this account was not used anywhere else. All my exchange accounts use a different unique email aliases. The aliases are also not dictionary words nor names, so highly unlikely it has been guessed or randomly generated by a spammer. Sure, it is possible, but highly unlikely.

But the ticket are not going through. They keep on saying try again soon, it's been 3 days since I have been trying to send a message to Luno with no success.
I lost my phone and now that I have a new one accessing to Luno becomes a nightmare .I tried every possibility to access to my account, the authentication code kept on saying incorrect code, I set everything in order to allow it the work but unfortunately with no success. Next my account was blocked, I had money in my account, I bought Ethereum so I want either my money back or to be able to access to my account. I'm not ready to give up on my money.
I will appreciate if I get help on this platform, because luno doesn't an option to assist me.
I'm so fed up

We're sorry to hear so. If our ticket system is not working please send us an email directly to [email protected]. You can share your ticket number here after you've done so and we'll ensure the matter is resolved from there :)
 
Thank you very much for your reply. I did send them an email, hopefully they will assist me,I can't even get a ticket number because it keeps on saying that I should try again soon , there was an error. It's been 3 days since I started trying to send a ticket message.
It really sucks, I'm very stressed now because of my money.

You should receive an automated response issuing a ticket number if you email the above address. Please check your spam folders too and let us know if this is not the case.

What can I do to make telephonic contact with a Luno employee?I suspect that my Luno account has been hacked a day or two after joining. The new password info or link that they are trying to send to me is being sent to the wrong cell number continiously. I am stranded in the middle of nowhere with this.

Currently Gmail locked me out of my main email so cant use that to unlock my Luno account

Is it possible to register a new account if I have already done KYC?

I dont think so but just hoping
