Hi
Stupid question I know, but what is the iMac equivalent of Alt-Tab?

Say I play WoW on iMac and want to go to Safari to access WoW related website, do I need Spaces activated to do that?
Tried all kinds of shortcuts to get back to desktop, but no success yet.

Mac OS still very new to me and not spending enough time with my new iMac...:o

For most situations:
F3 should work,
or function button (fn)+ F9.
Or the command button (cmd) + tab

I don't game on mine, but for everything I do, that works if you have more than one window open.

reset your keyboard shortcuts maybe? does it work in another user account?

expose is the more elegant equivalent of alt-TAB

found under expose and spaces in system preferences..

kind of, except i like the cmd + tab option to close apps quickly, i also like it because its faster than expose to switch between 2 apps u may be using.
I like the fact it lists the apps in order of most recently used.

I'm probably doing something stupid, but none of these work!? :o

I have not activated spaces yet, could that be the reason?

Go to System settings

Keyboard and mouse

Keyboard shortcuts (in the box)

Look for the line that say "All windows" mine is set to F9
