Hardly Apple's fault if the developers dont want to put the effort into it.

Even though you dont want to have to use bootcamp . . . Apple did the best possible thing in the way of a compromise to the gamers by making their hardware windows friendly.
 
I agree with bwana. Some time ago the CEO of Electronic Arts was there up on the stage with Steve Jobs promising that they're now going to have platform parity and bring all their new games to OSX - I have yet to see this happen.

OpenGL is a pretty good architecture. It's very stable, it's very efficient, it has more features than any game out there uses, and it runs really well on all the platforms that it is available on. Developers should just do the right thing - they'll open up more markets for themselves if they do.

Yes, but we have the hardware, so someone somewhere needs to pull finger and make it happen.
 
Or you could buy an Xbox and play games till your hearts content.
