Yup he has to go back to the company who has the Apple Business Manager licenses attached to the machine.

Only they can revoke it.

Until then it’s as good as stolen basically.

How they didn’t do this as part of the off boarding process when selling the thing is beyond me.

But it should be as simple as logging and internal ticket and pricing legitimate ownership and then it’s a few clicks to resolve.
