So, after 3,5 years of owning my macbook it seems the hinges have finally started loosening. Was wondering if anyone here has dealt with this problem? I called iFix and they wouldn't give me a quote over the phone. Need this sorted out soon as it seems to be getting worse.

Find your model here. That will give you an idea of the size and type of drivers you require. You'll also be able to decide whether you think you can handle it yourself.

iFixit.com, OWC and Youtube, in that order, would be my recommendation – once you've confirmed your specific model. And don't shirk on the quality of the screwdrivers, if they are needed.

Apparently I need a p5 pentalobe screwdriver. I know builders has torx, but do they have pentalobe too?
