Macbook Pro refresh

so the specs claim thats the bottom of the range 13" I am a bit disappointed and the bump to the 13" top of the range and the 15" better be much bigger!! I need more power, and it looks like i might need a 15".

Machine isn't changed that much, would have though they would bump resoultions etc.
 
STORES ARE OFFLINE!!! Hope they come back up with new laptops :)
 
Not really massive upgrades but I will be having a look at the 13"... Dual core 2,3MHz I5 and 2,7MHz I7. Also has the "Thunderbolt" port as well as dedicated Audio in and Audio out...

EDIT: Damn... Audio in and out not on the 13"... I was looking at the 15" side view... :(

I like the 13" but I'll be damned if I buy another glossy screen so looks like the 15" will be the one for me.

A bit dissapointed both 13" machines dont have discrete graphics. If i do but one of these, it will be a 15" ones, for both the graphics and the quad core processor

Might just consider staying with my machine for another year and getting an SSD to supplement it, but it will have to see core's pricing before i decide what i am going to do.

Anyone know if dual link over thunderclap will support 2 screens or only the dual link cinema display?
 
New Pros pretty decent, especially with the addition of Thunderbolt. I want to see when we are going to start seeing Thunderbolt devices on the SA market.
 
Any news on availability locally. Most local "stores" say *Pre-order

Funny how the "official" zastore.co.za says the 17" has a SDXC cardreader while it actually has a Expresscard 34 slot!
