My MacBook vibrates while charging. Is this normal?
According to some online forums this is due to inadequate grounding. How do I fix it?

Dear Lord. What are you going to complain about next? Just go back to Windows for the love of eveyone on the forum.

My Air vibrates as well.

The engineers who designed the Mac probably got fake qualifications

You mean to say there's no way to stop the vibrating??????
This is ridiculous. It could be in violation of some Electrical Safety Standard somewhere.

My current MBP doesn't vibrate. Currently. It's never been an issue for me or big enough that I have never seen a news article on it.

Something wrong with your plug point. Try another plug point and see if that changes it. Because of this "vibrating" thing, I was able to save a BnB owner a bunch on his electrics repairs. Turns out his wiring was all sorts of wonky.

If I buy this cable will it ground and stop the vibrating?
Yes. One would have come with the laptop though.

FWIW the two prog duckbills are not grounded hence the tingle.

EDIT - the green arrow is the earth connection (ignore the red circle).

So I fixed the issue.
It is a matter of grounding. Once you get a 3 pin plug vibration stops.
Still, dumb Apple engineers don't know how to design correctly. I'm sure it must be in violation of an Electrical Safety Standard. I should report it to the authorities. Get this product off our shelves.

You're very special. Good luck with that.
