Hi Guys.

Please assist and I hope I'm on the correct Post Thread...

I did a clone of my old HDD to new SSD. The software mentioned works with you PC ID and that has changed because of the new SSD. Now the software is back to DEMO mode and it is really a challenge to get the Americans to change the PC ID from the old to the new.

Is there anyway that I can bypass this method or do I have to wait until they decide to help me one day? (hopefully before X-mas)

* Probably very stupid question: I still have the old HHD... Can I not tell the software to run from the old HDD with a docking station even though the new SSD has been installed?

Think you'll have to wait. Alternative is to use a cracked version of Mach3 in the meantime. As to your 2nd question the ID is probably linked to your MAC address or some other hardware ID rather than your HDD.

@saor thanks for your reply. The Americans came alive over night and I got my new license, installed and all good. Forgot to mention, I'm running Windows 10.

VolumeID - Sysinternals

Set Volume ID of FAT or NTFS drives.

Find the volumeid of the old HDD, replace the one on the SSD
