This is still the case. Crazy. The new window snapping is loooong overdue but it leaves gaps on the sides for some reason. I've uninstalled Magnet anyway.

You can change this in settings

Settings - Desktop & Dock - Windows - Tiled windows have margins

Just turn the gaps off, there's a setting for it somewhere.

I also didn't like it initially but got kind of use to it and it does do a weird thing in my head of separating things.

Interesting 2 iPads updated seamlessly. iPhone and last iPad still running all in less than an hour. Haven’t touch the Mac though.
