My challenge is daily entry to garage. :cool: We got a cupboard in front and also there is lot of stuff on my side of garage so it is very tight fit. Right now, there is just 2 cm space in front and 4cm in the back when I park it. LOL.

I will have to move cupboards elsewhere and cleanup. My old car was really tiny in all respects.

Anything that's BoF (body on frame) will have a body roll compared to a monocoque car. It's in the way the vehicle is built - and provides durability / stability for the 4x4 aspects.

I have never had a body-on-frame rear-wheel drive car - or for that matter a Mahindra before, I received the 8L 4x4 a couple of weeks ago, and I want to ask you, when I drive at low speeds it feels as if the steering is loose, or a component is loose- nothing is - and on high speed, it stiffens up and you don't feel every rut etc. I feel it especially when driving slowly over paving. Do you have the same experience or is it something I need to get checked out?

I haven't noticed this at all but my mileage is just about 1000 now after 2 weeks. What I noticed is this - there is a bit of squeaky noise after folding the last row completely. Today I will use Q20 and see if it goes away.

That's not really true - they're not factoring in all our on the road fee's (only theirs).

1.) Tax in India is high, especially on diesel vehicles they're trying to phase out.
2.) The Z8* models in Australia come with the old instrument cluster (India and ours are newer).
3.) We don't benefit from Adrenox or the free esim agreement they get in India (and neither do Aus).
 
After experience of about 4000km of driving, including some off-road trails in nature reserves, I can honestly say that scorpio N is seriously underrated and undersold in SA.

Make sure to remember your 1st service.

6 months or 10 000km - whichever comes first (my salesman initially told me 1 year or 10 000km)....

YEP, same. I actually missed mine (by a few months, phoned to schedule the 1 year and got a surprise)...

Luckily my mileage is around 5500km, well under the 10 000km and the dealer has advised they'll still honour my warranty as it's the first service and I'm well under the km rate (even if my timing is out).

necro but heh - it happened to me recently and thankfully, car was parked outside the house in a security complex so no harm done.

I googled and got to your post so thanks as I couldn't find this quirk on 4x4community site. :cool: But, what the heck, Mahindra..
