I did not troll through all the posts. I have been using MailWasher for about 2 weeks and it is good. It bounces spam and all unwanted emails back to the origin saying your email addy is dead. My Spam count from 10 a day has dropped to zero.

I'm going to use this, if only GMail had the bounce option as a lab feature.

I've been running Mailwasher Pro for over 6 years - the best! :)
Just beware of the "bounce" function if you're using SAIX as SMTP.
SAIX sometimes blacklists your IP for spamming! :(

The only problem with bouncing mail back is that most of the time the origin address is spoofed. So if it is a legit address, that person will be getting strange messages, and if it is a fake address, then that mail will bounce around between mail servers for a while before it dies, which is a waste.

Now how do i find the legit addy of the spammers?

Only way to do so is to open the email physically and inspecting it.

Waste of time and resources.

Easiest and quickest is just to send it to the spam folder and forget about it.

Sending it to the Spam folder is not really easy or quick.
The spammers are remarkably persistent, so you would have to send their crap to the spam folder over, and over, and over...

Enabled SpamCop in mailwasher and it's working very well. I often submit junk email to spamcop via mailwasher.

Does anyone know what mail filters WebAfrica use? I'm getting quite a lot of spam from my WA address that mailwasher picks up.
