Nala said he had joined the ANC because there was no place for black people in the DA.

"There is no hope for black people in the DA," he said.

He said out of 36 councillors in the DA only four were black. At national level, he said there was only one black person.

"The only puppet is Joe Seremane. I am not looking back, I'm only looking forward," he told the cheering crowd.

In the DA, he said, one would never see black people in good positions.

"You will only see black people at rallies... When it comes to positions, it goes to the white people."

I thought that DA became a non-racial party, with a lot of non-white executives.
Is Siyabonga Nala wrong ?
 
If you substitute the word white for black he would pretty much be describing the ANC.
 
It would be nice to take a look at Nala's bank account - prior to switching over and just after switching over. You could be pretty sure that it has been inflated.

Why is this a major setback? If he is so concerned about race then good riddance. Now if he was concerned that people were not being appointed on merit I would applaud him.

Through the eyes of a racist,yes.
 
if you look at the councilors issue; the DA draws voters from former white areas. Councilors are drawn from those wards, so you would expect them to be white.

The ANC are a bunch of thick, thieving, lying and cowardly thugs and anyone voting for them has no common sense whatsoever. JZ and that brain dead J. Malema being typical examples of what the ANC has to offer. A gang of hasbeen and wannabe terrorists who garnish support from a sector of the population that has an average IQ that would qualify them for the disabled olympics. But this I fear is the African way. :(
 
What relevance is the skin colour of the councilors? I thought skin colour had no significance in the new S.A. Guess I was wrong :o :rolleyes:
 
as soon as the DA realizes that it needs to get more black people simply to win black voters then it will win a election, but at the moment they are to idealistic, it is sad that the average voter is swept up by emotion rather then logic.

I'm sorry, but ffs - you have to be one mother of a racist to sniff such absolute bull out of something said without a TRACE of racial intention.

So, if Nala is black, therefore calling him incompetent is racist? And if the sentence were, "There is no hope for incompetent people in the DA" if those incompetent people were black, that would be racist?

For the love of having a brain - if you are black and you are an idiot, you are an idiot. If you are white and you are an idiot, you are an idiot. If you are black and incompetent, you are incompetent. If you are white and incompetent, you're STILL incompetent.

How people can still sit behind a 21st century contraption known as a COMPUTER and still have such antiquated, primitive "Oh noes! He are call me stupid! Is because I is different skin colour!" notions instead of just thinking - for one ****ing second - that perhaps, instead of crying about how no one loves you and how unfortunate you were to be born, that perhaps you could simply better yourself, keep your head high and think about WHY instead of jumping to ridiculous childish conclusions based on race!

You know, you have to have one severe ****ing inferiority complex mixed with a complete inability to defend yourself if the only way you to know to argue or reason is by retorting, "I'm back, you're not; you insulted me therefore you are a racist."

Welcome to the world of being an individual - if someone calls you an idiot and that offends you, then guess what - you are an idiot.
