Buy mats for cheap (or farm them very easily) and make Sun Rock rings. DE them for Infinite dust and sell them on AH. You'll make about 500 gold for 30min "work"

It should require effort to make gold otherwise what would be the point of putting a cost on anything in the game. that being said you could literally just fly around Ice Crown, farm as much ore as possible and then get JC to prospect it for you. Used to make 750g - 900g per 2 hours of farming.

Buying stuff off AH. crafting into other things, disenchanting, prospecting etc = moola

Not so much hard work just takes a bit of time.

Stupid question time.

What do people actually grind cash for now? I'm not being facaetious, I'm asking from genuine interest here.
I'm not in high end raiding content, so I don't have to fuss about flasks & other raid consumables, not do I have to worry about regularly gemming & enchanting new gear, but other than that, what do people spend money on now?
I'm not talking 16k mammoths & motorcycles, things whice are effectively vanity items, but items with real practical & application in the game?

That is what people sink gold into. If you were super competitive you re-gemmed all your gear to epic gems the day they were released. Never mind you were spending 600g - 700g per gem. Leg enchants are 300g a pop. Flasks average out to 50g a flask and you're using 4 - 5 per night of raiding. so thats 250g 4 times a week or about 1k. If you're not forced to raid with consumables and forced to re-gem and re-enchant your gear as it gets better then I'd guess you wouldn't really have that many expenses.

there is a guy on my realm he just stand infront of ah and prospect ore and sell epics gems and he got over 500k gold some people says,he also bought 18k of tita ore just before the epic gems was released o.0

Yep u can make a fek load of gold just buying up saronite and selling everything u prospect. guy in our guild does it. makes like 1-2k per day just buy all the saronite on the ah and doing that

Erm, yeah ... about that Falcon...

You clearly do not know AcirdRaZor and his way of going about things in life. He believes in sharing knowledge and we value him for it.

If you've followed some of his advice you'll see that it's proven to be rather useful. Plus he's helped tons of us out by selling game cards much cheaper than any local stores.

What have you done for the WoW community on here yet?

Loved how when that guy posted his stuff on mmo about how too make gold it f'd up everyones cash cows on our server :P

Falcon has pulled a Brookelle on us and posted some crap in caps, just a joke though...

+10

I remember when I was first in IT.. many many moons ago, and there were only a handful of Linux peeps.. but everyone of them was a dick. They had a constant "well Im better than you... so screw you" attitude. If you asked them for any help or resources they basically used that as a chance to gloat and push you down.

I promised myself when I obtained the skills and resources I would help people out and never become like that. Ive promised myself the same for WoW. If anyone needs help as long as they are reasonable.. I try to help.

If noobs ask me for a boost now.. Ill often do it... if someone asks me for advice.. Ill do it. Im just lucky I have been in two great guilds that put people ahead of egos.

Common guys... sure you get folks like Brookelle that are lost causes.. but most people are good people just confused my the zillion aspects to this game. Theres no such thing as a stupid question.. just stupid answers.

Im lazy at making money.. but the way I do it is by playing the economics of the game.. buy low on the weekend.. sell high during the week. Look for a certain mat that is selling at a silly low price because its flooded the market. Wait until that mat is not in the AH and put in on at a slightly inflated price.

My profession way of making cash is to make earthsiege diamonds.. which if anyone is selling for 50G I buy.. then those I make of have bought I sell for around 80G. I make about 300G a day from these for doing nothing.

made 30 rings and got 4 1/2 stacks of dust that I am sellin @ 20g per 5 dusts spank you for the tip AR

Just a question, if you don't enjoy farming for gold in a mmo, is this type of game really for you? All these types of games have some form of grind, I just think that wow have so many options how you can choose to grind for your gold.
