DFA busy installing fibre in my area now. Hopefully my WISP jumps on the band wagon for some of that ass

good luck with that.


dfa has run how many 1000's of km's of fibre already... How many isps do you see jumping to get onto it?

In somerset west they ran it up gordon road all the way to erinvale, then back down lourensford road 6months ago, and not much else has happened since then. There are many towns where the same has happend.

one can only assume the ISP's are in fact making more than enough profit off adsl, but LOVE to slate telkom for high prices...

It's been available for a while. I have fibre into my apartment (Well, actually, it's fibre to the building, then ethernet from there)
