Makro Fujitsu Laptop Special

Ok- I have a few minutes available to play around with the FS Lifebook AH531. Let me know if you have any questions.

Give us your review, pretty please! We would like to know about performance, the monitor etc.

I really haven't worked on this machine even nearly enough to give a legitimate review. I've just installed some software and got the laptop ready for use. The build quality is decent - plastic casing all round, with a nice spill proof keyboard. The screen is pretty good, doesn't seem to have any spots that catch my eye. As I said, I'm not able to provide benchmarks and the like but I've liked what I've seen so far.

Cool, no worries. How big is the screen and is it LCD or LED?

Computers are all the same.
Many will get units that never give them problems.
Then some will get units that do give them problems.
It's mechanical devices - they are bound to fail.
Life goes on!

It's not FS to blame...

+1

Most cheap laptops these days have near identical design, build quality, etc.

I would probably put Asus/HP tops for build quality and innovation etc. Lenovo are also solid! This is probably quite subjective...

And of course, Dell. :D

I agree. However, if we were talking about HP/Dell/Samsung, I would not have asked the questions I did. The only reason I asked those questions is because not a lot of people buy Fujitsu, so I'm not sure on what the general consensus is regarding their products.

I've owned a FS - loved it.
I've own a Acer - loved it too.
I currently own a HP - it's 2nd hand, fixed it up, have no problem with it.

They all the same really dude.

The only really 'different' laptops are those laptops that are totally designed differently, we talking those R20000+ laptops with super designs and such.

Just bought one this morning. Has LED backlighting, HDMI etc. Pretty impressed with it overall. Difficult to find a laptop with a B950 processor at that price.

Oh and you get a free laptop bag.
