Its not a bad price but it is not a great PC either. Add 2 or 3K and you can put together a nicer PC.

Was about to say pre-built rigs are never worth it but but seeing the actual price, it's not that bad. You can obviously get something better if you build one yourself though.

What do you need from the MB? It has more than enough usb2/3 & sata 6gbs ports for average joe, it's a budget board and will give you the same gaming performance as a fancy board with flashing leds 3x the price. If you want m.2 or more dimm slots get something more expensive.

I'd rather have the case in my study than the majority of other prebuilt cases I've seen!
 
I would go for it if I were you. They're basically offering a custom built PC for that price to you with very basic components that will be able to play most games at entry level requirements and better. All of these other members that are advising against it is saying that because if you know what you are doing then you can probably buy each component separately and built it yourself but if you think about it for a second, that would require some knowledge and labor from your side and it is not guarantee to work as expected after the build is completed.

Save yourself some trouble by just buying the custom build PC from Makro and rather upgrade a component at a later stage.

Any idiot with access to Youtube and the ability to follow basic instructions can assemble a PC. Paying a bit more for something along the lines of Ponder's list above would give this guy a miles better PC and save money in the long run due to a significantly reduced need to upgrade.
 
Some suggestions wrt better components as per OP request,

R1293 - ASRock B250M Pro4
2x M.2 slots (0), 6x SATA 6GB (4), 1x USB Type-C (0), 2x PCI-E 3 slot (1), 4x DIMM slots (2) #()Brackets indicate cheaper H110 MB features#
If you decide on this MB buy you memory modules in pairs 2x4GB or 2x8GB

More powerful GPUs, either will serve you well.

R7232 - GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1070 G1 GAMING
If these are too rich look at the 6GB GTX 1060, which trades blows with the RX580 but has more VRAM than the ones I suggested further up in the thread.

R375 - RAIJINTEK THEMIS 0R100010 CPU cooler Just check if it fits in whatever case you decide on.

This excludes a mouse & keyboard though, you can spend several hundred on a mouse/keyboard combo or a good few thousand, not sure what to suggest here. The case also boils down to personal preference and you could go for a case of ~R700 which will do the job just fine.
EDIT: I picked a pretty decent kb/mouse combo short of full mechanical based on this review and added it to the list. This pushes you slightly over budget though, can always get a cheaper case.

The above build is very decent and would not like to compromise on anything but the case. It will be a decent 1080p rig and in a year or two if you want you can flog the gpu on carbonite, gumtree etc for a decent sum and upgrade just the gpu as the rest of the system will stay relevant for years to come.

If you can look at this 144Hz 1ms monitor instead of the one listed above, it's R1045 more though,

That a good deal at Makro - take it and you have a 2 year warranty with a reputable company. Piece of mind. That case is also unique for gaming. Will turn heads for sure.

After the 2 years you can still upgrade with better mb/gpu/memory etc etc.

I hope your nick means "sidecutter"
 
That Rig should be updated with the new quad-core i3.
