Makro Sinotec Full HD Special

I'm also ±18 months in with my 42". I have one pixel stuck on blue, but apart from that it hasn't missed a beat.

I did have the HDMI konk out about 6 months or so back, but Sinotec fixed that for me while I waited in Midrand and they were willing to send a techie to my house to fix it had I not been able to take the set to them. I'm still very happy; if they keep their quality decent I won't easily buy another brand of telly unless my numbers come up on Powerball at some point.
 
Makro has the new 40" on special for R5999. The 42" is now discontinued and old stock...Only Game is selling the old 42" stock.

The new 40" is awesome! Bought one last week and it's looking awesome! Block the sinotec tag at the bottom and you swear it was a samsung or sony :) It has a new panal, new menu interface, new remote, gloss finish, also now has the usb port for viewing jpegs and mp3s, new box but crucially still has the 5 year warranty. I've had my 47" Sinotec for 1.5 years and my 42" Sinotec for 8 months and no hassles with either! Real value for money! As usually DTSV HD looks epic, so does ps3 and xbox.
 
I'm coming up to my first year with my Sinotech 47" and it just passed its first house move as well. All systems still go! 2xHDMI still works, TV still works, remote still works and I'm fully confident I'll run down the 5 year warranty and it will break in year 7 :P

my Dusty Sinotec also had USB? afaik you could even play DivX from it

I'm going up on 3 years now iirc, and other than 1 stuck pixel that you won't even see, it's still going strong :)

Luckilly I still have 2 years left on my warranty though, if anything does go wrong :p
