Malema has a radical plan for SA

Having Malema has president will probably cause civil war; employers will attack the unions etc. Zuma will probably kill Malema… should thing go this direction.

It's really simple, if malema looks threatening and could possibly win, we know the DA will be out of the running to win. Now in that situation orbital knowing malema could win are you telling you would tick the DA box knowing it could be tight between the anc and malema? If you would still tick the DA box knowing malema had a real chance explain to me why would you tick the DA box?

You are thinking that an upstart party with minimal financial backing, has a chance of garnering much more than a small minority of the votes? Really?

Look at COPE, for an example of what will probably happen to the EFF (Though I think it will be a lot faster for the EFF)... upstart parties do not threaten the win immediately, but they either chip away at the majority slowly (as the DA is doing), or they fade into irrelevance like COPE is doing.

I don't agree with him, but it's a possibility...

Definitely a possibility and I can see where killa is coming from.

I think a lot of people are under-estimating Julius and his influence with the masses. And while all his faults may be glaringly obvious to us there is a potential audience that he appeals to. At a guess I would say his appeal to that audience has the potential to blow the DA out of the water. Forget Agang.

To those questioning his financial backing. He doesn't need it as much as someone like Agang or even the DA. He is a media darling atm and will no doubt continue receiving massive amounts of free publicity. Enough to convince many to vote for him.

Malema as an orator

To carify: I don't like Malema. I think the man is evil and dangerous.

He can however, rouse people to action (in the worst possible way). He does this by telling them what they want to hear, and playing on their latent anger. For me this makes him a good orator.

As a comparison, ask yourself: do you regard Marc Anthony as a good orator. How about Adolf Hitler? Winston Churchill? They were all excellent men at stirring people to action.

Their speeches may not have been as elegant as Martin Luther King or Abraham Lincoln, but they connected to peoples' emotions.

Malema has the same ability, therefore I regard him as a good orator (not brilliant but good).

You're welcome to disagree with me.

Glad you okes understand what i am talking about. It's worst case scenario but don't underestimate the majority who are angry with the ANC and know malema very well.

I think orbital is under the impression i am pushing that we vote for the ANC. I know i come across poorly at times but glad to see my point is actually recognized haha.

You guys wonder where malema will get money from, how about an angry billionaire pissed off with the ANC.

Malema is not like cope or an upstart party. For the first time in my opinion disillusioned anc supporters have another option, malema is well known and his support base could be bigger than we think and he gets free press in every news paper. So it may be a new party but it is run by a man many people know and may support given the ANC being so unpopular. He is a threat and underestimating him and voting DA when he looks a threat will destroy the country and all those people who never thought before voting will be at fault.

Malema is our Future President. We definitely need change in SA, youth must govern. Youths must get employment not this subsidy stuffs. Minerals must be shared. Economic Freedom in our lifetime.

Lets work together to build future SA that our kids will enjoy.

The only problem killa is that we won't be able to quite gauge Malema's support till the votes are counted. By then it may be too late.

But yeah this is a worst case scenario. No doubt things will turn out different.

I still say EFF gets more votes than Agang! :D

So you are welcoming a situation very similar as Mugabe rule?

They way I understand killadoob is that, without Malema, he thinks the DA will win a small minority of the vote and Agang will win a small minority meaning the ANC will win a majority of the vote. Enter Malema, many of disillusioned ANC voters move to EFF - so now you have DA with a small minority, Agang with a small minority, ANC and EFF close to equal but then... EFF wins majority over ANC and we have President Malema. Voting for DA won't help because most voters won't vote for them so it's only a minority voting for them, but if DA/Agang voters voted for ANC instead, it might tip the balance and keep Malema out of the presidency.

I don't agree with him, but it's a possibility...

Yes, I understood exactly what he meant. I'm just explaining why I disagree with him. Perhaps you could do the same?

I'm asking you how you will know that he's a 'real threat' and 'could possibly win' before the elections have actually taken place? The EFF has never stood in any election, has no political machinery in place, has no organisation, has no actual policy. He has free publicity and inflammatory and populist rhetoric. That's it. He's trying to sweep AMCU and disillusioned miners into his fold, and there are many angry, uneducated people out there. But that doesn't deliver one a Presidency.

I would still not vote for the ANC, because they remain part of the problem. They still need to be weakened. The stronger the DA and Agang are, the weaker the ANC or EFF are. The more votes DA/Agang get, the more seats in Parliament they have, giving them more leeway to combat the moronic ideas of the ANC or EFF. Voting is not an all or nothing situation, with proportional representation every seat we can take away from the ANC/EFF will help.

Mugabe is a saint. He is claiming what is rightfully for the zim ppl. They must enjoy what their country offers not some other outsiders.

We all agree that this country needs change. And Only youth can make that changes. We must not rely on people who are on retirement to run this country. If over 60 - go to retirement nicely and give us chance to lead.

So far I can say EFF will win few provinces. We are building a strong foundation that wont have cracks.

Like i said he may well get 1% of the votes but before the time i think we will have some information on his popularity and i am just saying ensure you have made sure malema is no threat.

I hope orbital when the time comes you wait because the DA supporters could very well end up ruining this country and not like the anc, within weeks or a couple months. Anyways if you disagree that is fine go vote for the DA but take the blame if malema wins and accept you are part of the reason SA was destroyed over night.

No they won't win any provinces not even Limpopo. The ANC's election machinery is very well funded. And now you're calling them "we" - aren't you just the special one

When the ANC inevitably wins again and continues to ruin the country can I blame you?

To orate it so speak publically. He doesn't speak well, or good. The content of what he says whips people up, and he may well be charismatic. Zuma is also to an extent a charismatic speaker, when he doesn't try and read off a paper. Neither of them are good orators, though.

You condone genocide. Really?

Do you really mean to say that you have no morals at all and that the end purely justifies the means? Because that is effectively what you are saying. And moreover, you are wrong. The improvements made on the land is not theirs. They did not make it. If it weren't for the outsiders those improvements would never have been made.

Moreover, I don't see the Zulus offering to give up their land to the Xhosa, or both to the SAN, who are the original owners of the land. How far back do you want to go. Why not give it all back to the wild animals that roamed the land before people?

In the Western Cape, there black people only arrived after white people. Do you still want land grabs there?

So far I can say EFF will win few provinces. We are building a strong foundation that wont have cracks.

The whole EFF is build on a house of cards. It has no moral foundation. Julius talks about being against corruption, but he is highly corrupt. He talks about redistribution of wealth, but shown that he wants loads of it.

If it succeeds it will bring the nation to its knees and will ultimately have to resort to being a police state to keep control. Is that what you want? Do you want rigged elections? Do you want arrest without trial? Because that's what you'll get. If you thought apartheid was bad, this will be even worse.

You really need to seek medical help.

How about we bet a years salary on the EFF winning a single province ?
