Bunch of thugs the whole lot of them.

Johannesburg - Julius Malema was left nursing his wounds after he was reportedly injured at a friend’s wedding earlier this month – by flying bottles of his favourite French bubbly.

An SMS was circulated after the wedding. It read, “Malema moered, nursing bruises suffered from last night’s beatings at wedding in Seshego.”

City Press understands that the former ANC Youth League president’s arms were cut and bruised after he was pelted with bottles of expensive Moët champagne at the wedding of his friend and business partner Collins Foromo.

A guest at the wedding, which was held at the Honeymoon Lodge in Seshego, Limpopo, said Malema was angered by the arrival of his archenemy Nigel Baloyi and a few of his friends.

Baloyi is the Youth League’s secretary in the ANC’s Peter Mokaba region.

“Malema sent bouncers to Baloyi to kick him out. Baloyi, who apparently had also been invited, went away and came back with more friends, including Boy Mamabolo, who is also a fierce enemy of Malema,” said the guest, who spoke on condition of anonymity.

“Malema then went to the stage, grabbed the microphone and started shouting: ‘We are seeing criminals here! We are seeing hooligans!’” the guest said.

Taunts

Malema apparently continued his taunts, saying: “Please go away as this is a private function. We don’t want to fight with you, but you are not invited. Please go away and leave us alone. If you want a fight we will give it to you. We are products of street fights.”

Baloyi and Mamabolo’s group, the guest said, then sprang into action and hurled cider and wine bottles at Malema – followed by bottles of Moët & Chandon.

“There was a bit of chaos with people running for cover. They called the police, who arrived promptly and restored peace. No one was arrested. The wedding moved to Giyani the following day and I saw Malema there. He had a bandage on his right arm,” the guest said.

Baloyi confirmed that Malema sent his bodyguards to him to kick him out of the wedding reception.

“Julius was sitting with [Limpopo youth league secretary] Jacob Lebogo, cousin Tshepo Malema, and close friend Jossie Buthane.

Jossie came with bodyguards and he told me that I was not wanted. They grabbed me by the hand and pulled me outside,” he said.

Blood

Baloyi also confirmed that he called Mamabolo, but he denied that his friends began pelting Malema with bottles.

“His bodyguards came and attacked us and we had to defend ourselves. I don’t know who injured him, but I saw his arm covered in a T-shirt, and full of blood,” said Baloyi.

Malema confirmed that he attended the wedding at the lodge owned by Limpopo’s MEC for sports, arts and culture Dipuo Litsatsi Duba, but said he never had a fight with anyone.

“By the time I left, nothing like that had happened. I was at the wedding, but I never saw the fight,” he said.

We are products of street fights.
What a fiasco, typical of them and they are the future this country offers?

He is not so strong now when he is alone and doesn't have a podium to speak out on.

Earlier this month? So its old news...who really cares?

I say just leave him in his own little world.

Pitty it didnt hit him in the head

That wouldn't have done any harm, it is only the correct target if the victim has a brain.

Pitty they weren't armed properly, with steak knives at least, and then they could have wiped each other out.

Why the hell is the media still reporting on this nobody's coming and goings? FFS

Go out! This is a revolutionary wedding!

Can you imagine the monumental facepalmage at a "normal" wedding if some fat, arrogant little prick came up and took the mic to have a rant about someone he didn't want there? Unreal.

Champagne went straight to his head? ;)

Malema said he was still a yoof as long as he was younger than his parents, if I'm not mistaken...
