Malema sees himself as Number Two

on a more serious note, the day Julius becomes number 2 in this country, will be the day i have to accept this country is a place i no longer want to stay in

Did anyone tell Juju, that after the elections, he can't just make up a number of votes he received? Or he'll probably blame the whites for his low numbers.

We need youth party that will fight for economic freedom.

I might join them but waiting to see their manifesto.

Sak - What your view on EFF?

the heading makes me think of the Huggies (i think) advert we had on TV years ago... its a number twoooooooooo

He said the new party would try to attract unions

I am not fond of the idea that unions get involved in politics.

tsk tsk, ANC won't let him take half their votes, doubt if he'll steal votes away from DA.

Not too far fetched considering he's more popular than all DA leaders.

I'm actually OK with this.
He will never get the same number of Votes as the ANC, I think he will be lucky to scrape together 20%.
So then the ANC will be much weaker, and we will have just another opposition party calling out the ANC.
And his party is not likely to affect the DA at all.

+1 I support this

I don’t see any strong leaders who will side with Malema; sincerely this must not be a troublesome group.

The unions are already involved in politics up to their necks and have been for decades. Do you not recall that COSATU is in an alliance with the ANC?

Two dogs fighting over a bone and the third runs away with it....

Lets hope, if he can take half of the ANC vote (which I doubt) it will put the DA in a very strong position and possibly in the lead...

Not only you Malema, EVERYBODY sees you as a number 2

In fact, just this morning I saw something that reminded me of you ... then I flushed and it was gone

If he got that much support, the ANC would just entice him with assimilation in return for a ministerial post and quashing his case. If he is convicted and sentenced to more than a year he wouldn't be able to go to parliament so he wouldn't refuse such an offer. The ANC already has that invertebrate acting NDPP in place who would drop the charges on request.
